Consistently good

Racines has been a great place for the LGBT community since its inception. The food and service are consistently good.

Good munchies, nice space, great parking, reasonably price.

I have never had a bad meal here. It's dependable and the staff is great.

A restaurant is suppose to be about the food!

It is and awesome looking place! Impressed me with there private parking garage for patrons. Huge open space on the inside. Beautiful yet subtle holiday decor. But I ordered a Cosmo to drink, which tasted like straight vodka with food coloring! But it was almost as they were trying to buss me up for the horrible, tv dinner tasting, chicken fettuccine alfredo. It was bland, watery and the pasta was undercooked! And as I was having this horrible experience, my server kept hovering. I'd take a sip from my water and he'd refill to keep my cup filled to the rim, literally! Some people may love this place but as for me I won't go back!

Disapointing service and food

I've been to Racine's about 5 years ago, went here with some friends while visiting because of past good experiences but this place had really went downhill. We were seated and waited on in good time, but all of our food came out wrong, the entres came before the salads and everybody got their food at a different time. Salads also came out with the wrong dressings. The portions were large but quality was not very good. The chicken on my Cobb Salad was "Costco" preformed, precooked, cold and tasteless. This place used to do much better. I can't recommend at this time.

Gay friendly, good eats!

I've never had anything from their menu that didn't taste pretty good. :) While str8 folks eat here too, you'll definitely pick up a gay vibe in the place. The restaurant is fairly large, but can still have an intimate feel . . . could work for a first or second date for sure.
