Improved facility, but not that busy

I stopped by on a Saturday night while in town for a quick weekend trip. Not very busy (seems Friday is the best night here), good drinks, friendly service, the new patio is an asset. Will check it out next trip back to Denver and try to make it on a Friday.

Nicknamed the "Dogpound" . . .

The title of my review sounds mean, but that's what the locals call the Compound. The only time I've gone and had fun was on Friday nights (bouncing between Boyztown and here). Their dance floor isn't all the big, but one of the few places to dance in Denver on a Friday night and the sound system and music are pretty good. Drinks here are overpriced for Denver standards, so I tend to drink at Boyztown and dance at Compound. Nice patio area. Very ethnically diverse crowd which is nice. Also seems to be a creeper magnet though.

So far so good...

I have only been once so far since I got to Denver, but plan on going back and will update my review. Great drink prices, way friendly bartenders and a great mixed, friendly crowd! I had a great time and plan on going again tomorrow!

Missing bartender

It was a great place full of fun and one incredibly hot bartender that me and all my friends used love watch in action. Tall, dark, handsome Natalio; Sadly he is no longer there

Though cleaner than some, service is lacking.

The biggest drawback is the quality of the bartenders. The three or four times we have been there it took an average of 10 minutes to be served a drink.. The bartenders are more intersted in socializing with their friends or hitting on the younger guys. Truly disappointed as this place is so close to where we live.
