Thursday was fun.

Yup, I came for underwear night. It was busier than I expected. No denying, it's off the beaten track, but worth finding. The solo bartender was way too busy. But give him credit, nobody went thirsty. I met Tank! What a sweet dog! And they have a classic pinball machine. I was happy.

me likey!

Awesome layout. I'm here in the early afternoon so there's no crowd but that's fine. Look forward to a later night arrival. Be sure and say "hello" to Tank, the owner's dog. He's a big playful pup. Say "hi" to Vince, the friendly sexy bartender.

Best Eagle I've been to

I've visited the Eagle bars in Dallas, Denver, and Las Vegas, and the Denver one is the best. It's huge and has a nice big outdoor area, and it's in an actual grungy warehouse - lots of very masculine ambience - an old truck parked inside, tires and a cast-off bathtub and other stuff lying around outside. Very sexy. The crowd didn't seem stuck-up like at some leather bars - not so bent on being tough that they couldn't smile and have a conversation. :) Good-sized dance floor. Bartenders nice - whole experience was great except that I got eaten by some kind of bug in a corner of the outdoor area - big 'ol welts on my skin from numerous bites - maybe a fumigation or the removal of some foliage out there is in order.

Worst Gay Bar in Denver!

This is my least favorite gay bar in Denver. It could just be that it is a leather/bear type environment and that is not my scene. I went there with some friends of mine who wanted to check out "black out" night, but it didn't seem to matter how low they turned down the lights, we could not enjoy ourselves. It is out in 5 points surrounded by nothing but warehouses, although it is close to Tracks Nightclub, they are 2 totally different types of places.

Could have been...should have been...

The building itself is awesome! Great style and space, very clean, but that's probably because there is never anyone there. It's an "Eagle" by name only. The times I was there they had disco music playing and guys that looked as if they were wearing makeup and freshly waxed...also, it's out by itself away from the other bars, not driving friendly and not taxi friendly if you are going from bar to bar, which may explain the lack of clientele...best to just pass...
