Heartthrobs: The Evolution of The Boy Band

The Denver Gay Men’s Chorus will perform “Heartthrobs: The Evolution of the Boy Band” as part of their 35th Anniversary Season at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Heartthrobs celebrates boys in bands, from the Beatles to Backstreet Boys, from the Jackson 5 to Boyz II Men. The concert will take place March 10-11 at 7:30pm, with a matinee at 2pm on March 11, at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Denver, CO. James Knapp, Artistic and Managing Director of the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus, with 130 singing voices, is thrilled to put together this tribute. We’ve all been touched by one of these bands in our evolution, and to put them together in one show seems a very fitting tribute for our 35th season. Celebrating the men in music that have revolutionized what the boy band is over the years, be it the Four Seasons or One Direction, this show has it all, including a five piece band!
