Wed, Aug 27: Etiquette for Social Affairs
Rebecca Saltman, the Founder and President at A Foot in the Door Productions, will give a short talk entitled “How to Do It Right, or at Least Fake It!”
She will be taking a look at how to professionally interact at various types of social events. Whether it’s a formal dinner or a cocktail hour of mingling, there are definite do’s and don’ts to follow.
You want to make an impression, right; but, what kind of impression? These tips will keep you from making a bad impression when meeting people and ensure you will make a great impression instead!
This is a great opportunity for young professionals and students looking to network to find the right next job for them, as well as for folks more established in their careers who could use a little refresher course on just which fork to use, how to introduce yourself and engage in small talk, and most importantly, how not to make the dreaded bad impression!
We need to get an accurate count for food and a there will be a special gift for all attendees, please RSVP by Mon, Aug 25 to Mindy at mbarton@glbtcolorado.org.
Thank you Chipotle for sponsoring this event and providing dinner for this fun event!
