The Official PRIDEFEST 2014 AUDITIONS

Denver's PrideFEST is the third largest Pride in the country!! You have the chance to perform for over 300,000 attendees. AUDITIONS are Sunday April 13th @ Vinyl. Please add your friends to this invite and help spread the word. PrideFEST is the weekend of the 21-22nd of June 2014. The are four stages and two days of festivities, lots of opportunity for you to shine! You must be 18+ to try out. ****PLEASE READ 100% OF THIS INVITE**** We will be holding auditions for the following; >>> DJs // GoGo Dancers // Various Performers <<< 1. DJs Rules: -Pre-screening will be in place. DJs check in at 4 PM. -Plan on being at the club until past midnight (for the finals) -All music formats welcome from country, Latin, House..etc -Round 1-15 minutes per DJ. Need to mix at least 4 songs in 15min -FInals-15 min sets on rooftop. Need to mix 4+ songs. -USBs/CDs only. Equipment onsite are the Pioneers 2000s -No software/computers allowed DJ Judging Guidelines: A-Music selection / B-Mixing Flow / C-Stage Presence 2. Various Performers -Dance troops, Bur/Boylesque, Drag, Singing, Fire, comedians, Hoops, Jugglers, Contortionists and more! Additionally to the main stage acts, the Latin stage is specifically looking for some Spanish language acts. **NO bands or singers that require additional sound setup -Please bring your music on a CD or USB -You will have 5 minutes maximum for your performance VP Judging Guidelines: A-Entertaining / B-Energy-Connection / C-Stage Presence 3. GoGo Dancers Rules: -Come in full GoGo attire (your choice of outfit) -Two rotations sets, two minutes each. Judging Guidelines: A-Dancing ability / B-Energy-Connection / C-Stage Presence CHECK-IN TIMES 1. DJs - Check in between 4-5pm 2. Various Performers - Check in between 5-6pm 3. GoGo Dancers - Check in between 6-8pm **NO Late Check-ins accepted *TIP- To all performers, make sure you bring your A game, a positive attitude with a smile attached PLUS your friends and supporters as they will help to keep the energy off the roof! JUDGING PANEL There will be a panel of local celebrity judges from Drag icons to international club Djs to local media, promoters, board members from The Center and professional dancers. DOORS OPEN AT 4PM close at 2am **NO COVER CHARGE** $3 well DRINKS all night // 18+ welcome Stay and party after your audition!! This is our fourth year hosting the auditions at club Vinyl. As you know CLiMAX Sundays @ Vinyl is the largest GLBT Sunday rooftop party in the nation and the official PrideFEST after party on Sunday June 22nd. Special thanks to Club Vinyl's staff.
