Not impressed

Walking in the door with my girlfriends and it smells like a restroom (urine?). Total turn-off, but we went up and ordered a round to give it a try. Cute bartender, but many tables had empty glasses and the place isn't very clean. Bartender seemed more into himself than taking care of customers. Never saw him leave behind the bar, and we just didn't get a good vibe. Maybe just an off night, but in my opinion there's better (cleaner, funner and more friendly) bars for the gay community in Denver.

Not much improved

Used to go into the old Barker on Broadway occasionally, which was ok. The new location is not great...place doesn't seem very clean and clientele isn't what I was expecting to see. I don't think I'll be there again, there's some new places that are better. They do have a couple of cute bartenders, but the neighborhood isn't what I was hoping for...maybe not the best place for newbies. Sorry, just my opinion!

Fun place

Stopped here after work to meet friends. Small but fun, love the jukebox, like I can bring my pooch when I want. Staff is very friendly and the owner came up just to say hi and thanks for coming in. Love it when an owner does this. Shows he cares about his bar and customers. Only have been after work, not sure about later nights. But sure it's fun!

Have yet to meet friendlier bar owners and staff! Our little Goodwyn has a place to hang out with his dads now!
